KaoBan Privacy Policy
KaoBan, also named 考伴, is an AI exam preparation app. You can import text and study files so the app can help generate knowledge plans, explanations, flashcards, practice questions, mock exams, grading, and memorization material.

1. Information You Provide
When you use KaoBan, you may provide exam project information, study goals, weak points, pasted text, uploaded files, answers to mock exams, and support messages. Uploaded files may include PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text, or similar study materials that you choose to import.
When you sign in with Apple, KaoBan receives an Apple identity token and an Apple user identifier. Apple may also provide your name and email address depending on your Apple sign-in choices and whether this is your first sign-in. KaoBan uses this information to create and maintain your account, credits, and subscription status.
2. Information We Store
KaoBan stores your app account identifier, Apple sign-in identifier, optional name and email, credit balance, credit ledger, subscription status, App Store transaction references, and model usage records such as token counts and estimated cost. These records are used to provide account access, subscriptions, credit accounting, abuse prevention, support, and service reliability.
Your learning projects, imported material text, and generated learning content are primarily stored locally on your device by the app. The backend does not store model provider API keys in the iOS app.
3. Document Processing and AI Generation
When you upload a file or request AI generation, the relevant material may be sent to KaoBan's backend and service providers to extract text and generate learning content. KaoBan currently uses document parsing and AI model providers to deliver these features. Do not upload materials that you are not allowed to process or that contain sensitive personal information you do not want processed by these services.
Raw uploaded files are used for parsing and generation workflows. KaoBan is designed around study assistance, not permanent cloud document storage.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
KaoBan offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment credentials. KaoBan receives StoreKit transaction information and App Store Server Notifications so it can update subscription status and monthly credits. KaoBan does not receive or store your payment card details.
5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
KaoBan does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Server logs and model usage records may be used to operate, debug, secure, and improve the service.
6. Third-Party Services
KaoBan may use Apple services for sign-in, StoreKit purchases, and subscription notifications; Cloudflare services for backend hosting and database storage; document parsing providers for file extraction; and AI model providers for content generation. These services process data only as needed to provide the app features you request.
7. Your Choices
- You can choose what study materials to import or upload.
- You can delete local app data by deleting the app, subject to iOS backup and system behavior.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can contact us to request account, credit, or support assistance.
8. Children's Privacy
KaoBan is intended for general exam preparation users. It is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent.

当你上传文件或请求 AI 生成时，相关资料可能会发送到考伴后端和服务供应商，用于提取文本并生成学习内容。考伴当前使用文档解析服务和 AI 模型服务来提供这些能力。请不要上传你无权处理的资料，或包含你不希望被这些服务处理的敏感个人信息的资料。
上传的原始文件用于解析和生成流程。考伴的定位是学习辅助工具，不是永久云端文档存储服务。
4. 付款与订阅
考伴通过 Apple App Store 提供自动续期订阅。付款、续订、取消、退款和支付凭证由 Apple 处理。考伴会接收 StoreKit 交易信息和 App Store Server Notifications，用于更新订阅状态和每月积分。考伴不会接收或保存你的银行卡信息。
5. 分析、广告与追踪
考伴不使用第三方广告 SDK，不展示广告，也不会跨其他公司拥有的 App 或网站追踪你。服务端日志和模型用量记录可能用于服务运行、调试、安全和改进。
6. 第三方服务
考伴可能使用 Apple 服务完成登录、StoreKit 购买和订阅通知；使用 Cloudflare 服务进行后端托管和数据库存储；使用文档解析供应商进行文件提取；使用 AI 模型供应商生成内容。这些服务只会在提供你请求的 App 功能所需范围内处理数据。
7. 你的选择
- 你可以自行选择导入或上传哪些学习资料。
- 你可以删除 App 来移除设备上的本地数据，但仍会受 iOS 备份和系统行为影响。
- 你可以在 Apple ID 的订阅设置中管理或取消订阅。
- 你可以联系我们，请求账号、积分或支持协助。
8. 儿童隐私
考伴面向一般备考用户，不是专门面向未达到当地法律要求的可独立使用在线服务年龄的儿童。
